Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, phone number, college, course, year of study, and any optional links you add (LinkedIn, GitHub). We also collect data generated as you use the platform: enrollments, lesson progress, assignment submissions, mentor interactions, and support messages.

Technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, and cookies are collected automatically to keep the service secure and functional.

We use your data to operate the CELIT platform — authenticate your account, deliver internships, enable mentor reviews, issue and verify certificates, send service emails, and improve product quality. We never sell your personal information.

Payment instruments are processed by PCI-compliant payment providers; CELIT does not store your card or UPI credentials. We retain order, GST invoice, and refund records as required by Indian tax and accounting law.

When you earn a CELIT certificate, the certificate ID, your name, the program title, and the issue date appear on the public verification page. This is by design — a credential is only useful if it can be verified.

We use first-party cookies for sign-in and preferences, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand product usage in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We share data with mentors and reviewers strictly to deliver your program, with payment providers to process transactions, and with infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics) under appropriate contractual safeguards. We disclose information when legally required by Indian authorities.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Certain records (invoices, certificates, audit logs) may be retained where required by law.
